SCOOTERING COACH
Skateboarding & Scootering in Our Community
We are a small organisation based in West Oxfordshire dedicated to inspiring our local community through skateboarding and scootering. We provide safe, structured coaching that combine fun, fitness, and skill development. By working with councils, schools, and community groups, we aim to create opportunities that promote healthy lifestyles, build resilience, and foster a sense of belonging. Since 2022, our mission has been to make action sports accessible to everyone, strengthen communities by using skateboarding and scootering as tools for engagement, creativity, and positive social interaction and promote long-term participation in active lifestyles, reducing sedentary habits and encouraging resilience.
Why Skateboarding and Scootering?
Inclusive & Accessible: Skateboarding and scootering are open to all abilities, ages, and backgrounds. They are non-competitive by nature, allowing riders to progress at their own pace.
Physical Health: Sessions build balance, coordination, strength, and endurance while encouraging active outdoor play.
Mental Wellbeing : Learning new skills develops confidence, patience, and perseverance. These sports are proven to help reduce stress and improve focus.
Creativity & Expression: Unlike traditional team sports, skateboarding and scootering encourage individuality, problem-solving, and self-expression.
Community Engagement: Parks and open spaces become positive, social hubs where children, families, and young people connect.
what we do
-
Private coaching that’s tailored to you. It’s the fastest way to improve your technique, overcome specific challenges, or get extra support in a calm, focused environment. There is an option to add a sibling or a friend and make it a 2:1.
-
Usually run together with OESA, our group sessions create a fun, supportive environment where riders learn from each other, build confidence, and progress faster together. Sessions are organised by age group, with occasional specialised sessions including SEN and adult groups. Wether it’s your first session or 5th one, you can join our group sessions.
-
We’re passionate about making wheeled sports accessible to everyone. To support this, we founded OESA, enabling us to secure funding to provide inclusive skateboarding and scootering sessions for young people of all backgrounds -removing barriers to participation and building stronger, more active communities.
-
Our after-school clubs balance structured skateboarding development with a supportive after-school care setting. Suitable for all skill levels, sessions offer a safe environment where children build confidence, learn new tricks, and socialise. With all equipment provided, it’s a convenient and engaging option for busy families.
-
From opening new skateparks and running skate fests to hosting birthday parties and competitions - we really do it all. If you have an idea and you’re not sure how we can help, just reach out!
-
Our skate camps are high energy sessions designed to help riders progress, build confidence, and have fun whatever their skill level. Alongside skateboarding coaching, we include skate themed arts and crafts, LEGO, games, and music to create a fun and engaging experience. With expert coaching and all equipment provided, it is the perfect camp environment for young riders.
